Job summary

Wenzel’s The Bakers is seeking a part-time Team Member/Sales Assistant to support busy shops across the North West and Greater London, delivering friendly customer service and assisting in food preparation. The role emphasizes a proactive, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will work approximately 20 hours per week with pay of £12.21 per hour (under 18 £10.00, 18–21 £11.75). We offer training, pension, 28 days holiday, a birthday day off, staff incentives, and wellbeing

Pay & Hours:

For our Team Member/ Sales Assistant roles we offer a competitive pay of £12.21 an hour (under 18 - £10.00 an hour, between 18-21 £11.75 per hour) to start, and a working week is 20 hours, Monday to Sunday.

Although our shops open early, and we do have set shifts within our Shops, we are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs where we can.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service – handling all our customer’s needs, including taking their order, cash handling and the till operation
• Producing fresh sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our food safety / health and safety standards (food safety and hygiene training is provided)
• Assisting with the day to day running of the shop

What Are We Looking For?

• No previous training is necessary as full training is provided
• Someone who is confident and enthusiastic, with a great work ethic and a positive attitude showing great customer service skills
• Someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently as part of a team
