Job summary

Wenzel’s The Bakers is seeking a Team Member/Sales Assistant for a part-time role. You will help serve customers, prepare sandwiches, and keep the shop running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers 20 hours per week with pay starting at £12.21 per hour (under 18 £10.00, 18-21 £11.75). We provide full training, pension enrolment, 28 days' holiday, and staff discounts plus wellbeing support.

Pay & Hours:

For our Team Member/ Sales Assistant roles we offer a competitive pay of £12.21 an hour (under 18 - £10.00 an hour, between 18-21 £11.75 per hour) to start, and a working week is 20 hours, Monday to Sunday.

Although our shops open early, and we do have set shifts within our Shops, we are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs where we can.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service – handling all our customer’s needs, including taking their order, cash handling and the till operation
• Producing fresh sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our food safety / health and safety standards (food safety and hygiene training is provided)
• Assisting with the day to day running of the shop

What Are We Looking For?

• No previous training is necessary as full training is provided
• Someone who is confident and enthusiastic, with a great work ethic and a positive attitude showing great customer service skills
• Someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently as part of a team
