Job summary

Barbour in the East Midlands is seeking a Sales Assistant for a part-time, 8-hour Christmas contract. You will deliver excellent customer service, promote Barbour brand standards, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong selling skills, a customer-focused approach, and a keen eye for fashion trends. Flexible hours and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this temporary role.

• Contribute positively towards the sales/ profitability budgets for the store through achieving personal sales targets.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Be a brand ambassador promoting the brand within the locality.
• Maintain shop floor standards both front and back of house.
• Undertake and apply accurate Company administration procedures.
• Comply with Company security procedures.
• Actively support store management procedures, in line with Company policy.
• Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and Company procedures are adhered.
• Accurately process transactions through the till system.
• Undertake any other reasonable activity, as may be required by senior management.

Position Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our East Midlands Store on a 8-hour part time temporary contract covering the Christmas period. You will be reliable and hardworking and have a passion for delivering excellent levels of customer service. The ideal candidate will be confident developing selling opportunities and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a brand ambassador and will be responsible for representing the Barbour brand in a positive and professional manner.

Additional Information:

• This is a temporary role covering the Christmas period.
• Contracts available: 1 x 8 hours
• 25 days holiday as standard increasing with length of service plus bank holidays (pro­rata’d to contracted hours, and contract length)
