Job summary

Deichmann are seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to join our Rugby store. This is a part-time, permanent role contracted to 8 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 and potential commission on sales.

You will welcome customers, assist on the shop floor, process till transactions, restock shelves and keep the store tidy. The successful candidate will have energy, a positive attitude and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or customer-facing role preferred.
• Flexible with the ability to work across days Monday-Sunday.
• Able to work in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide knowledgeable product information.
• Serve customers at the till and process sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain stock levels and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process stock deliveries promptly and accurately.
• Keep the shop floor clean and well-presented at all times.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

Purpose

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Rugby store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 8 hours per week.

Key activities

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
