Job summary

Deichmann in Braehead is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will work 8 hours per week, with an up to £12.91 per hour rate and a performance-related bonus.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, processing sales at the till, and assisting with stock control and promotions. We value energy, teamwork and a positive attitude, with the ability to work across all seven days.

Purpose

: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Braehead store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This is a part time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 8 hours per week. You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure. Key activities:

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
