Job Title: Sales Assistant

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join our team at the Basildon store.

Purpose: To deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers and contribute to the store's success.

Salary: Up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Position Details: This is a part-time, permanent role, contracted for 8 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate:

• Energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
• Positive attitude towards customer service.
• Ability to work well within a team and calmly under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information about products.
2. Processing sales transactions at the till.
3. Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
4. Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
5. Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are always full.
6. Processing stock deliveries promptly.
7. Maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor.
8. Performing any additional duties as required.
