Job summary

The Entertainer in Yate is seeking a Sales Assistant to join us on a temporary contract. You will deliver outstanding customer service, operate tills accurately, and assist with stock and merchandising in our busy toy shop.

You will work within the Tesco concession space as needed and contribute to a fun, energetic environment. We offer flexible shifts across 7 days, opportunities for development through our online training platform, and a range of benefits designed for our store teams,

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over tasks and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points and actively push addons by engaging customers.
• Safely handle deliveries and keep stock rooms tidy and up to date.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards.
• Work in your designated Tesco space as and when required.

As a Sales Assistant on a temporary contract, we want you to be: - confident and approachable - hardworking and ambitious - caring and passionate What your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over task and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points and to be actively pushing your addon's by engaging effectively with customers.
• Responsibly and safely handle and accept deliveries to store keeping up with the maintenance of stock room areas.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

• Working in your designated Tesco space as and when required

  Our stores are open 7 days a week and on a 12-hour contract you will typically be working 4-hour shifts over 3 days. Depending on the trading hours of the store you're applying for, having a flexible approach and a commitment to help the store operate, it is key that you are able to work these shift patterns. This might include working hours at any time of the day, perhaps even outside of our normal trading hours, especially at Christmas.
