Job summary

The Entertainer is seeking a Sales Assistant in Ashford to deliver outstanding customer service, handle till transactions, and help maintain toy displays. The role covers flexible shifts, including weekends, with opportunities to promote add-ons and support stock handling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move stock as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over tasks and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately and securely through the till and actively promote add-ons.
• Safely handle deliveries and maintain stockroom areas.
• Merchandise toys to company standards.
• Support store operations in the designated Tesco space when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over task and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points and to be actively pushing your addon's by engaging effectively with customers.
• Responsibly and safely handle and accept deliveries to store keeping up with the maintenance of stock room areas.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards
• Working in your designated Tesco space as and when required.

Our stores are open 7 days a week and on a 12-hour contract you will typically be working 4-hour shifts over 3 days. Depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for, having a flexible approach and a commitment to help the store operate, it is key that you are able to work these shift patterns. This might include working hours at any time of the day, perhaps even outside of our normal trading hours, especially at Christmas.
