Job summary

Roman Originals is seeking a Part Time Sales Assistant to join our store team in North Tyneside. 1x8 across two weekdays, including weekends, with responsibilities spanning customer service, merchandising, and till operation.

You will be part of a friendly team, delivering high-standard service and helping customers with product queries while maintaining store standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role.
• Must be flexible to increase hours and work across weekends.
• Able to answer product-related queries and identify customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high housekeeping standards on shop floor and back of house.
• Provide excellent customer service and exceed expectations.
• Identify customer needs and answer product queries; maximise product knowledge.
• Implement and maintain high standards of visual merchandising in line with floor plans and stock availability.
• Uphold health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
• Operate the store till with accuracy and in line with company procedures.

So, are you a retail lover with a passion for Customer Service? We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our store team as a Part Time Sales Assistant.

This post is for 1x8 working across any 2 days including weekends.

As a Sales Assistant you will play a vital role in the succession and delivery of our stores and be responsible for maximizing sales by providing a high standard of service.

Working as part of a friendly, motivated team, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both on the shop floor and back of house.
• Providing excellent customer Service and exceeding customer expectations at every opportunity.
• To identify customer needs and be able to answer all product related queries. Inclusion of maximising product knowledge.
• Implement and maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising, by selecting, preparing and displaying merchandise in line with floor plans, stock availability and management discretion.
• Uphold a clean and tidy workplace and understand Health and Safety responsibilities within the workplace.
• Operating the store till in line with Company procedures, providing a high level of customer service and accuracy.

You must be flexible; to support the operational store teams and be able to increase hours where necessary.
