Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company in Newark is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to join our store team on a 16-hour, four-day rota, including weekends. You will help customers, maintain store standards and ensure accurate till operations.

You will greet customers, stock shelves, assist with deliveries and work to a high level of service. Benefits include 5.6 weeks' holiday pro rata, pension, and staff discount after induction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Job description

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 39 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our Newark store.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation
