Overview

Pay - £7.55 - £12.21 per hour.

Our store in Lowestoft is looking for a minimum 16hrs per week Sales Assistant. You will need to be fully flexible over the course of the week. The hours will be spread across the week but will include at least one evening and a Saturday or Sunday shift.

What you'll be doing

The role involves being trained in all aspects of customer-facing store life:

• Tills – Serving customers with purchases or returns, checking that all items are complete, and fragile items are packed securely to ensure safe delivery.
• Shop floor – Assisting customers in finding products and providing excellent, memorable service to foster customer loyalty and a love for our products and staff.
• Hosting – Using our iPad systems to order products for home delivery when items are not on the shelves. Training will be provided to create bespoke curtain and blind orders to customer specifications. You will also style departments like bedding displays to inspire customers and help them select the perfect items.
• Stock and Delivery – Involving physical tasks with some heavy lifting. This is a customer-facing role focusing on merchandising, updating prices, tidying the store after busy periods, receiving deliveries, checking stock, managing stock control, and replenishing the shop floor, always keeping customer needs in mind.
