Job summary

Deichmann in Leeds is seeking a customer-facing retail assistant to provide strong service on a fast-paced shop floor. You will handle till transactions, stock replenishment, and product recommendations, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

The role requires a flexible 4-hour-per-week schedule across all days, a positive attitude, and the drive to exceed targets while delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Approach customers and provide helpful information on products.
• Serve customers at the till and process sales transactions.
• Recommend complementary products with each sale.
• Team up to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Replenish stock to keep shelves full and tidy.
• Process stock deliveries promptly.
• Keep the shop floor clean and presentable at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate a can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Serve all customers and work toward monthly targets.
• Work methodically and complete daily tasks accurately.
• Maintain attention to detail and work well solo or in a team.
• Commit to 4 hours per week with flexible days Mon–Sun.

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure. Key activities:

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI's.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
  A positive, can do attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
• The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
• Methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
• The commitment to work 4 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day (Monday - Sunday).
  Salary/Pay: up to £12.91 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
