AkzoNobel's Dulux Decorator Centre in Coventry is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to deliver excellent customer service to professionals and DIY enthusiasts. You will support the store with sales, merchandising, and occasional home/business deliveries, working five 5-hour shifts within 7:00am–5:00pm hours, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday mornings.

The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a pathway for career progression within the Dulux Decorator Centres network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
• Valid driving license (desirable, not essential).
• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
• Calm under pressure.

Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with instore colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. We will look to you to use your people skills to help maximize the sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories in your store. You will carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses too.

This is a part time, 25-hour per week role, 5x 5 hour shifts, scheduled between the store opening hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and some Saturday shifts from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
