Poundland in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sales Assistant to be a brand ambassador on the shop floor, helping create a great shopping experience for customers. You’ll join a friendly team, keep the store stocked, and ensure tills run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store stocked and tidy throughout the shift.
• Deliver fantastic customer service to every shopper.
• Support deliveries and shelf replenishment as needed.
• Ensure checkouts run smoothly and handle till duties accurately.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
