Poundland is looking for a Sales Assistant to be the brand ambassador on the shop floor, delivering friendly and helpful service while keeping the store stocked.

You’ll be part of an energetic team, handling tills with care, supporting deliveries, and helping create a safe, tidy and welcoming shopping environment. Training will be provided to develop your retail career.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is welcome, but not essential.
• Friendly, can-do attitude and good communication.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store stocked and tidy.
• Provide fantastic customer service at the sales floor and tills.
• Support deliveries and stock replenishment to maintain shop appearance.

About The Role

Join us here at Poundlandas a Sales Assistant and you’ll be our brand ambassador on the shop floor, helping create a great shopping experience for our customers every day.

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
