Job summary

Poundland is hiring a Sales Assistant to be a brand ambassador on the shop floor, helping create a great shopping experience for customers every day. You’ll be part of a friendly team, keeping the store stocked, giving excellent customer service, supporting deliveries and ensuring the tills and environment run smoothly.

A can-do, friendly approach in a team setting is essential; you’ll get training to grow into roles like Team Leader as you progress with Poundland.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store and remain focused.
• Good attention to detail, especially on tills.

Responsibilities

About The Role

You’ll be part of a friendly, energetic team, keeping the store stocked, giving fantastic customer service, supporting deliveries, making sure the checkouts run smoothly and ensuring the environment is safe, tidy and welcoming.

A can do, friendly approach in a team environment is what we need for this role. Having an organised approach with good attention to detail, especially on the tills, is key. Retail or customer service experience is great, but not essential, we’ll unleash your potential providing the training to get you up to speed as you’re a key part of our success.
