Job Description:

We are seeking a Sales and Membership Manager to earn up to 40K OTE 60K at a leading leisure destination in Castleford. You will lead a team of 3 sales executives and proactively build regional partnerships to drive sales, including lessons, group bookings, and corporate events. The business has an excellent reputation and benefits from significant repeat and referral business. Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and close new sales opportunities with groups, corporate clients, and schools.
  • Focus on sales conversion by structuring daily/weekly activities to meet targets.
  • Optimize the sales mix to maximize occupancy and high-yield activities.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies in collaboration with Head Office and the Senior Team.
  • Implement training and coaching to develop your sales team.
  • Perform duty management shifts as a senior manager.
  • Support the sales team in exceeding targets.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven commercial experience with a successful track record in similar business settings.
  • Experience leading and developing target-driven sales teams in retail, leisure, or hospitality.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and diligent approach.
  • Excellent judgment, drive, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work shifts including some weekends.
