Job description

Sales and Marketing Executive

Location: Tonbridge

Salary: £30 - 35,000 per annum + Benefits including free parking, Private Medical Insurance, generous holiday allowance, and social team building events.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5pm. Office Based.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Marketing Executive with excellent communication and Excel skills to join their dynamic team in Tonbridge. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and creative environment.

Main Objectives:
  1. Support Business Development Managers in achieving sales goals.
  2. Manage and execute all aspects of Sales Support.
  3. Handle customer inquiries, product queries, and marketing needs.
  4. Provide proactive account management for assigned customers.
  5. Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  6. Take proactive responsibility for existing client accounts.
Customer & Sales Support:
  1. Maintain regular communication with customers via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
  2. Manage customer databases and mailing lists using CRM systems.
  3. Plan and attend customer meetings (in-person and virtual).
  4. Generate and analyze customer sales reports.
  5. Prepare product presentations and sales performance charts for meetings.
  6. Maintain and update product information, including pricing and specifications.
  7. Notify customers of product updates and changes.
  8. Handle customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  9. Respond to website queries and catalogue requests.
Marketing & Trade Events:
  1. Coordinate with the Marketing team for website updates and visuals.
  2. Maintain and update customer email databases for campaigns.
  3. Support weekly product e-shots.
  4. Plan, prepare, and attend UK and international trade fairs (2-3 annually).
  5. Organize travel, accommodation, and shipment for trade fairs.
  6. Assist in proofreading marketing materials.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Provide cover and support for colleagues.
  2. Serve as the point of contact for calls and inquiries.
  3. Undertake other duties as requested by management.
  4. Contribute to improving the Sales Support team's efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
  • Proficient in administration and confident in presenting information.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and in a team.
  • Resilient and focused under pressure.
  • At least two years' experience in sales and marketing administration.
  • Tech-savvy with expertise in CRM and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe is desirable.
