Mercedes-Benz of Dartford is seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Sales Advisor (Telephone), working 4 days per week, Monday to Friday (3 days) either 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, plus (1 day) Saturday 8am-5pm . Deliver Outstanding Telephone-Based Sales and Customer Service

As a Part Time Sales Advisor (Telephone), you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, engaging with them over the phone to qualify and understand their needs, offer guidance, and promote appointments to experience the exceptional range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Essential Skills & Attributes For a Telephone Sales Advisor

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to put customers at ease.
  • Confident telephone manner with an engaging and persuasive approach.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs
  • Sales-driven attitude and motivation to achieve team and individual targets.
  • Strong attention to detail when recording customer information and booking appointments
  • Experience using CRM or customer database systems is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in telephone-based sales or customer service is desirable, but not essential – full training provided!
  • Ambition to learn about new vehicles, offers, and dealership promotions to inform customers accurately.
  • Team player, adaptable, and eager to support an inclusive workplace environment.

Main Responsibilities: Telephone Sales and Customer Support

  • Respond to inbound and outbound sales and enquiry calls with knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Proactively make outbound follow-up calls to support sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads, identify customer requirements, and promote appointments for the showroom sales team.
  • Accurately record customer details and interactions using dealership CRM systems.
  • Keep up to date with vehicle features, offers, and dealership events to provide up-to-date information to customers.
  • Be an ambassador for the Mercedes-Benz brands.
