Job summary

Winemark Ardoyne is seeking a Sales Advisor for 16 hours per week to deliver excellent customer service and help drive sales. You will assist the Store Manager, maintain product knowledge, and ensure stock is well-merchandised and secure.

A friendly, proactive approach and strong communication are essential. You will work in a busy retail environment, engaging with customers, supporting promotions, and maintaining high standards of dress and professionalism.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
Three months' retail experience.
Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
Customer-focused with dedication to service.
Ability to actively sell to customers.
Personal drive and a positive attitude.
Dress to a high standard.
Team player with ability to work in a team.
WSET Foundation Certificate (desirable).
Driving license (desirable).
Interest/knowledge of wine (desirable).
Experience with cash handling (desirable).
Experience with stock handling and control (desirable).

Responsibilities

To assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times, including an up to date knowledge of store products on display.
Identifying selling opportunities and acting on these.
To assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store according to Company standards.
To ensure that stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards at all times.
To assist with promotional set up.
To ensure that the premises are safe and secure at all times.
To comply with the Company regulations with regard to cash handling and administration.
To comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.
Any other duties relevant and related to the post.

Purpose

To provide the best level of service to Winemark customers in accordance with the Company’s standards and procedures
To assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the business including sales, security and stock control
