Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK Ltd in Dudley (DY2 0RH) invites applications for a Sales Adviser Apprentice. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a busy builders’ merchant, learn product knowledge, and begin a nationally recognised qualification while working in a fast-paced trade environment.

No previous experience required; you’ll earn while you learn, with structured training, mentoring from experienced colleagues, and clear opportunities to progress in sales, customer service, and construction

Qualifications

• Has a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Enjoys communicating with customers, colleagues and building relationships.
• Has good organisational and teamwork skills.
• Is confident using computers and learning new systems.
• Demonstrates reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
• Has qualifications i.e. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths or A Levels or is willing to work towards achieving them if required.
• The role may also be of interest to a college leaver who is looking to gain experience in the workplace.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Advisor Apprentice in our Dudley (DY2 0RH) branch!

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Adviser Apprentice to join our team and develop a successful career within one of the UK's leading builders' merchants.

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

We operate numerous supply solutions across the UK where certain contracts incorporate a dedicated distribution store and a solution to provide van stocks and a wide range of building maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.

Our JPS contracts are buoyant and busy outlets solely focused on our contract with the local council or housing association.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, earn while you learn, and achieve a nationally recognised qualification whilst working in a fast‑paced trade environment.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm and Friday 7am - 4.30pm

What You'll Be Doing
