Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Seasonal Sales Advisor to join our Retail team on an 8-hour temporary contract. You’ll work with an energetic team to deliver an excellent in-store experience for customers, handle sales transactions, and keep the shop looking welcoming.

You will bring a warm, friendly manner, enjoy selling, and help maintain visual merchandising and product presentation. Uniform is provided, and staff enjoy a 50% discount on Saltrock products.

Qualifications

• Warm and friendly manner that fits with Saltrock culture.
• Passion for selling and interacting with customers.
• Strong visual merchandising awareness.
• Competent at till operations and cash/card handling.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Create a welcoming in-store experience for customers.
• Maintain store housekeeping to a high standard for a healthy, safe environment.
• Provide information about product features, benefits and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising guidance and product placement as required.
• Process deliveries and stock entrants.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries
