Job description

Job Title :Membership Advisor

Hours : 40 per week

Rate of Pay : £12.21 per hour

Location : Newport

We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Membership Advisor to join our team and drive the growth of our membership base.

A typical day in the life of a Membership Advisor:

Promote and sell memberships through tours, presentations and follow ups with prospective members.

Conduct engaging and informative tours of the club, highlighting key features and benefits.
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Provide a welcoming and informative experience for all potential and new members.
Handle inquiries, appointments and follow up calls in a professional and timely manner.

Manage the membership sign up process, including completing contracts, entering data into the membership system and processing payments.
Maintain accurate and up to date membership records and ensure confidentiality of member information.

Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and tracking sales metrics.
Collaborate with the fitness and customer service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new members.

Participate in member retention activities, such as welcome calls, and satisfaction surveys, to enhance member engagement and loyalty
Promote club programs, services and events to current and prospective members.

Attend weekly video hangouts to discuss KPI performance in absence of a Sales Manager.

You may also be required to support the Fitness Advisors by assisting with fitness classes and undertaking other operational duties as needed.

What we are looking for:

Be qualified in Reps L2.

Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
The ability to think outside the box and be a self starter with your own initiative.

Have strong interpersonal and communications skills and a customer focused attitude.
A genuine passion for health, wellness and customer service.

The ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility.
The ability to work to deadlines and be KPI driven.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

It would be desirable if you had previous experience in a sales, customer service or fitness environment along with strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets. It would be advantageous if you had a degree or qualification in sales, marketing or a related field.
