Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor on an 8 hour contract to join our Retail team at our store along the coast. You will work with an energetic team, delivering an excellent in-store experience for our customers.

You’ll help achieve sales targets, handle till operations and cash/card payments, keep the store tidy, and assist with merchandising and deliveries while upholding Saltrock’s coastal brand and customer-first ethos.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service mindset and confident communication.
• Ability to handle till operations and cash/card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by passionately promoting the product.
• Ensure customers have a positive, welcoming store experience.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenished as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
