Job summary

Jewson is seeking three Sales Advisors for our Barnsley branch (S75 3LS). You’ll focus on delivering exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers, and advising on products and delivery options.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Positive can-do attitude and willingness to contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Get to know product lines and services to maximise customer interactions.
• Build great relationships with customers, understanding needs and providing proactive advice.
• Process orders using in-house systems, arrange deliveries, and keep customers updated.
• Maintain a clean, tidy branch and yard to make a strong first impression.
• Carry out regular stock counts and help maintain stock levels.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.
