Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, is hiring a Sales Adviser to join the Affinity General Insurance team in Taunton. You will support clients through their insurance journey, build relationships, and identify sales opportunities to meet evolving needs.

You’ll contribute to New Business income targets and revenue growth in a dynamic Commercial Sales team. The role exposes you to diverse insurance requirements across healthcare, dental, and generic commercial clients, with a collaborative,

Responsibilities

• Be proactive and maximise all business opportunities; inform clients of alternative products and provide insurance reviews.
• Provide professional support and advice to clients to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Attend external events such as conferences and client visits.
• Generate leads by contacting existing and previous clients and prospects.
• Ensure all policy administration is completed professionally and on time.

Salary: Starting from £26,000.00 (depending on experience) (plus bonus potential circa £5k)

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About The Role

Lloyd & Whyte, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Sales Adviser to join our Affinity General Insurance team in their Taunton office.

As a Sales Adviser, you will support clients throughout their insurance journey, building strong relationships, delivering outstanding service whilst identifying sales opportunities that meet their evolving needs. An integral part of our Commercial Sales team, you will find the best solutions for our clients whilst contributing to New Business income targets, revenue growth, and overall business success.

Our client base spans a variety of sectors, including dental practices, GP surgeries, medical associations and other commercial organisations, giving you exposure to a diverse range of insurance requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Be proactive and maximise all business opportunities making clients aware of alternative products, advising clients of potential gaps in cover and providing effective insurance reviews with clients wherever possible
• Provide professional support and advice to clients ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction
• Attending external events, such as conferences and client visits
• Generation of leads by effectively contacting existing clients, previous clients, previous quotes and prospects
• Ensure all policy administration is dealt with in a professional and timely manner

What you'll need to have

• Previous Sales experience
• Tenacious and motivated towards meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
• Ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment
• Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of the wider team
