Your Role

We are currently recruiting for a Freight Account Manager to join our successful, market-leading International Road Logistics team. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Executive responsible for generating new business and promoting our freight services to potential and existing customers. This role includes full account management, from initial telesales to delivery, with a focus on driving profit growth through effective customer management.

We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative, and motivated individuals with a genuine passion for sales. The ideal candidate will understand the unique needs of each customer and provide tailored account management that adds value to their business. The role also requires delivering accountability within the industry.

Your Responsibilities
  • Generate new prospect leads and accounts via telephone and face-to-face meetings.
  • Engage in telesales, face-to-face selling (B2B), negotiations, and presentations.
  • Grow gross profit and achieve targets set out in the Account Manager Scheme.
  • Meet sales productivity and revenue targets.
  • Provide high levels of internal and external customer care.
  • Offer accurate and cost-effective quotations to customers.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales activity reports as instructed by the Branch Manager.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Experience in proactive telesales or cold calling sales roles, ideally with outbound telesales experience.
  • Experience generating your own sales leads is beneficial.
  • Experience working towards targets and KPIs.
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Full Driving Licence.
