Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board invites applications for a Main area Medical and Dental Grade Salaried Dentist. This is a permanent, full‑time post (37.5 hours per week, 08:45–17:00) based in Llandrindod Wells, delivering NHS general dentistry with excellent equipment and a supportive team.

We welcome Welsh speakers but training is available for all. You will help improve access and reduce waiting times across Powys, while developing clinical skills in a focused, patient‑centred environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification or equivalent in Dentistry.
• Registration with the GDC as a Dentist.
• Willing to work in Powys community dental service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of NHS dental care for adults and children in Powys.
• Deliver courses of treatment for patients unable to access general dental services.
• Support the team to improve access and reduce waiting times.
