Job summary

Lift Schools offers a school-based Initial Teacher Training programme for aspiring Maths teachers. The salaried route enables you to earn while you learn and work toward a PGCE and QTS, with dedicated mentors and extensive classroom experience across Lift Wishmore.

The programme includes two-week Summer School, personalised mentoring, weekly training, and a nationwide trainee network, culminating in recognised PGCE & QTS qualifications.

Qualifications

• Degree: 2:2 or above by start of programme.
• GCSEs: English and Maths at grade 4(C) or above.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• SEND experience: minimum 3 months within SEN.

Responsibilities

• Learn in the classroom with mentoring from experienced teachers.
• Gain hands-on teaching practice and gradually take on more responsibility.
• Attend weekly training sessions and in-school coaching.
• Engage with a nationwide network of trainees and alumni.
