Job summary

Dr R K Arora invites applications from GPs to join a stable, close-knit practice at the Lyng Centre in West Bromwich. The role involves four sessions per week with Monday fixed and one other day (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday), plus a hybrid on-call/triage day every other week and 13 patient clinics (mix of face-to-face and telephone).

The team includes pharmacists, nurses, social prescribers and a mental health practitioner, supported by an admin team, with modern digital workflows and on-site

Qualifications

• Medical degree required.
• Fully qualified GP with UK registration.
• On performers list (GP) is required.

Responsibilities

• 4 sessions a week (Monday must; other day Tue/Thu/Fri).
• 1 hybrid on-call + triage day every other week minimum.
• 13 patient clinics (face to face and telephone).
• Salary dependant on experience.
• BMA model contract (6 weeks or 24 sessions annual leave and 1 week study leave).
• SystmOne practice software.
• On-site parking.
• Home visits are rare.
• Very manageable clinical admin.
• Multidisciplinary team includes Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Social Prescribers, Mental Health Care Practitioner.
• Dynamic and digitally minded practice continually evolving.

Dr R K Arora is a well organised and long-established GP practice with a list size of 11,200 and growing, based in the modern and spacious Lyng centre in West Bromwich.

You would be joining a stable close-knit team of both younger and more experienced GPs providing you with mentorship from different perspectives.

You will be joining a stable close-knit team in a digitally minded and forward thinking practice providing high quality care.

• -3 GP Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses (including a Prescribing Diabetic Nurse), 1 HCA, 3 PCN Clinical Pharmacists and 1 PCN Pharmacist Technician
• -Teaching practice. We currently have a GPST3.
• -Strong performance in QOF and ICB metrics that are routinely reviewed by the Health Secretary
