Job summary

Goldstone PCN is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join the forward-thinking, innovative team for 6 sessions weekly on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1 January to 31 March 2027. Morning and afternoon surgeries will include a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments.

Home visits are allocated by continuity of care and fairly distributed among the clinical team. You will work alongside a multi-professional team including Practice Pharmacists, ANPs, Paramedic Practitioners, a Physician

Responsibilities

• Daily workflow of own patient list and that which you generate.
• Work alongside our multi professional team including Practice Pharmacists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners, Physician Associate, and a wide range of nursing team professionals.
• Liaising with external health care professionals
• Contribute to our excellent QOF performance
• Equitable share of duty doctor days
• 15 minute appointments

We have 8 GP Partners, 10 salaried GPs, 3 ANPs, 2 Paramedic Practitioners, a Physician Associate and a skilled nursing, pharmacy and administration team plus a broad range of established allied healthcare professionals working as part of our well-functioning Goldstone PCN. We consult using EMIS Web and have been pioneers for on-line consulting, electronic prescribing and workflow document management and are keen adopters of new technologies. We have excellent QOF performance and offer many specialist services - joint injections, minor ops, family planning and community anticoagulation.
