Job summary

Redgate Medical Centre in Somerset Bridge, Taunton area is seeking a Salaried GP to join a nurse-led, multi-disciplinary team. The post offers a supportive environment with Emis Web, Accurx and Ardens, and a focus on safe, sustainable workloads and trainee supervision.

You will provide autonomous medical care under the GMS contract, participate in continuous professional development, and work within a collaborative team with robust admin support and regular clinical governance activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration and current license to practice in the UK.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and adherence to professional standards.
• Experience within general practice and ability to work autonomously within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical care to the practice population within GMS contract requirements.
• Manage long-term conditions and prescribing in line with local and national guidance.
• Coordinate referrals, lab results and admin tasks; participate in virtual, telephone and in-person consultations.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and training of medical students and staff.
