Job summary

Redgate & Somerset Bridge Medical Centres in Somerset seeks a Salaried GP to join a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. The post offers clinical autonomy, protected admin time and involvement in teaching GP trainees. The practice is nurse-led for chronic disease management and emphasises well-being and continuity of care.

You will work within a supportive environment with modern IT systems and regular professional development opportunities, including training and safeguarding of patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration.
• MRCGP or equivalent qualification.
• VT certificate or JCPTGP equivalent.
• CCT or UK eligibility to practise in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical care in line with the GMS contract.
• Manage referrals, lab results, and prescriptions efficiently.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure patient safety.
• Cover a range of duties including surgery consultations, video and telephone consultations, and home visits.
• Collaborate with nursing and admin teams to support patient care.
• Support training and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
