Job summary

Trafalgar Medical Group Practice, a two-site GP team serving around 28,000 patients in Sunderland, is seeking a salaried GP. The role involves 15-minute appointments, ~14 contacts per session on SystmOne, and shared duty days with a colleague. Teaching afternoons and clinical meetings are a core part of the role.

Entry requires GMC GP Registration and MRCGP, plus enhanced DBS clearance. Commitment to patient-centered care and NHS standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold GMC GP Registration and MRCGP.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and training activities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering 15-minute face-to-face appointments.
• Seeing around 14 patient contacts per session on SystmOne.
• Covering duty days with a second GP, up to one per week.
• Managing a mix of e-consultations, telephone and face-to-face bookings.
• Attending teaching afternoons (TARGET) and monthly clinical meetings.
• Using AI tools in clinical settings with reflective practice.
