An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join a friendly and well-established practice in Selby.
Offering 6–8 sessions per week, this permanent position provides excellent flexibility and support, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced GP or someone looking to take the next step in their career. That said, they are also open to newly qualified GPs and British trained GPs that are looking for a supportive practice to begin their career.
You will work collaboratively with an established GP and multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care, including:
Face-to-face and telephone consultations
Management of acute and chronic conditions
Home visits and on-call responsibilities
Diagnosis, treatment and care planning
Safe prescribing and clinical record keeping
Participation in audit, QOF and quality improvement
Supporting teaching and training of medical students and GP trainees
Contributing to clinical governance and service development
There is also weekly protected GP time, supporting a healthy work-life balance and professional development.
This is a busy town-centre practice caring for approximately 11,500 patients in the Selby area. The practice has an established and supportive leadership team and a strong commitment to education, training and continuous improvement.
You will join a friendly clinical team working alongside a range of wider healthcare professionals, with services including first-contact physiotherapy, social prescribing, counselling, respiratory care, diabetes prevention, long-term condition management and mental health support.
The practice uses SystmOne and offers a broad range of primary care services within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
