Kent LMC in Canterbury is seeking a clinically confident Salaried GP to manage a defined patient list, delivering high-quality care with ownership and continuity within a supportive practice.
The role operates within a structured total triage model, enabling focus on complex clinical decisions while supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team. Duty Doctor rota participation is required, with one day per week finishing at 18:30.
We are seeking a clinically confident, motivated GP who is looking for a role offering greater ownership, continuity of care, and professional responsibility within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
As a list holder, you will manage a defined patient list, enabling you to develop meaningful relationships and deliver high-quality care. This role is ideal for a GP who enjoys applying sound clinical judgement, values continuity, and wants to play an active role in shaping patient care within a well-organised practice.
Working within our structured total triage model, patients are directed appropriately across the multidisciplinary team, allowing GPs to focus on complex clinical decision-making and continuity rather than unsustainable reactive workload.
You will hold responsibility for your personal patient list, including associated clinical workflow such as repeat prescriptions and patient-related administration, supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team.
The role includes participation in the Duty Doctor rota, including one day per week finishing at 18:30, with additional cover during holiday periods.
We are a well-established and progressive GP practice serving approximately 15,000 patients, with a predominantly student population from the University of Kent in Canterbury.
We are supported by a skilled and dedicated administrative team, enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.
As a training practice, we are actively involved in the education and development of GP Registrars, nurses and medical students
