Job Summary

Looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working team player who enjoys working in a successful, high-achieving Practice. This is an invitation to join our experienced multidisciplinary team consisting of GPs, ANPs, PAs, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, HCAs, and Physios.

We are always keen to develop new ways of working to simplify processes and streamline workflow, ensuring responsibilities are shared out equitably. An individual who enjoys transformation and practice development will be welcomed.

Main Duties of the Job

• Newly qualified or experienced GPs are welcome to join our team.
• For newly qualified GPs - we will support you to settle in and gradually ease into the Practice ways of working. A buddy will be appointed to support you during the induction.
• We would like the new colleague to have aspirations of becoming a GP Trainer in the future.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal medical services to acceptable clinical standards, both in surgery and on home visits.
• Respond to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, referral, and documentation with READ coding.
• Provide health promotion and preventative health care advice within primary health care.
• Attend all team and relevant meetings.
• Carry out administrative and non-clinical duties needed for service delivery.
• Provide free certification in line with NHS regulations.
• Provide emergency cover for colleagues as needed.
• Maintain patient clinical records electronically.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Essential: GMC registration or equivalent, General Practice experience, On the Performers List.
• Desirable: Special Interests, GP Trainer.

Experience
