Job summary

Downend Health Group is seeking a Salaried GP to join our expanding clinical team. We care for around 28,500 patients across two modern sites with a strong support network of over 100 staff, including admin, secretarial, medicines management and IT support.

We offer a manageable working day with 15-minute appointments, protected admin time, regular mentoring from a GP Partner, and Hub sessions. Teaching possibilities and Bristol University Academy GP Prize 2025 recognition reflect our commitment

Qualifications

• GP confident in clinical decision making.
• Patient-centred approach to care.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• 15-minute appointments.
• 12 patient contacts per session.
• Protected admin time.
• Allocated coffee breaks with peers.
• Regular follow up slots for patients.
• One week study leave pro rata.
• Six weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata.
• Regular clinical meetings.
• Mentoring and support from a GP Partner.
• Medical indemnity & GMC membership covered pro rata (subject to probation).
