Job summary

You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, contributing to service development and specialist interests while maintaining GMC standards and Continuing

Qualifications

• GMC registered GP with current licence to practise.
• CCT or equivalent qualification.
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Desirable: MRCGP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred medical care to our patients.
• Work in accordance with the GMS contract.
• Manage chronic and acute conditions following best practice and national guidance.
• Prescribe safely and cost‑effectively in line with local and national policies.
• Undertake clinical administration including referrals, prescriptions and results management.
• Participate in triage, online requests via Anima and duty doctor sessions on a rotational basis.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
• Collaborate to balance workload across the clinical team and support governance activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audit and service development.
• Support teaching, training and CPD activities where appropriate.
