Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred medical care to our patients.
• Work in accordance with the GMS contract.
• Manage chronic and acute conditions following best practice and national guidance.
• Prescribe safely and cost‑effectively in line with local and national policies.
• Undertake clinical administration including referrals, prescriptions and results management.
• Participate in triage, online requests via Anima and duty doctor sessions on a rotational basis.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
• Collaborate to balance workload across the clinical team and support governance activities.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audit and service development.
• Support teaching, training and CPD activities where appropriate.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality clinical care to the practice population in line with the GMS contract and GMC standards for Good Medical Practice. They will contribute positively to the ongoing development of the practice and work collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary team.

This role also offers opportunities to develop additional services and clinical interests, including:

• Minor surgery
• Joint injections
• Spirometry
• Womens health
• Sexual health services

Job responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the Salaried GP include:
