Job summary

Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery in Halstead is seeking a salaried GP to join a friendly, collaborative team committed to work-life balance and professional growth. The practice offers 6 sessions per week in a semi-rural setting with a multi-disciplinary team and extensive NHS links.

You will work with GP partners, nurses and allied staff to deliver high-quality primary care, maintain patient records, and contribute to audits and development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation where appropriate.
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list.

Responsibilities

• Make autonomous clinical decisions for presenting problems.
• Screen patients for disease-risk factors and early signs.
• Develop care plans aligned with current practice protocols.
• Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Contribute to audits and QOF requirements.
• Deliver enhanced services and issue computer-generated prescriptions.
