Job summary

Wateringbury Surgery is seeking a motivated Salaried GP (or GPs) to join our warm, collaborative team. We offer 4 to 6 sessions with flexibility to support work–life balance and a competitive salary aligned to experience.

The practice operates on EMIS Web and utilizes integrated digital tools, with extensive staff support and development opportunities. The role includes up to 8 sessions per week, access to six weeks’ annual leave plus one week of study leave, and career progression opportunities

Qualifications

• GMC registration as a GP with valid licence.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Willingness to undertake weekly on-call duties (Thursdays).
• Team-focused approach valuing collaboration and mutual support.
• Interest in contributing ideas to help the practice grow and improve.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP services across 4–8 sessions per week in a supportive team.
• Engage in weekly clinical duties and participate in the rota.

We have recently achieved RCGP Active Practice Status and have an enthusiastic workgroup dedicated to promoting movement and wellbeing among staff and patients–offering everything from lunchtime movement sessions to opportunities for volunteering in our practice garden.

Our practice is:

• Supported by the PCN Paramedic team, resulting in a low home visiting rate
