Job summary

Highcliffe Medical Centre in Dorset is offering a salaried GP post for 6 sessions per week, with days to be discussed. You will be supported by 6 GP partners, 8 salaried GPs and a large nursing team, in a collaborative clinical environment.

You will undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits when required, and manage documentation and referrals according to practice protocols. The post emphasises teamwork and quality improvement in NHS care delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and current UK professional registration.
• Disclosure DBS checks required per NHS policy.
• Six GP sessions per week; days to be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Provide NHS general medical services to registered and temporary patients.
• Face to face consultations, telephone triage, home visits, referrals and documentation.
• Maintain medical records and complete clinically related administrative duties.
• Develop care plans and follow practice disease management protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to service audits and improvements.
