Terra Nova Medical Practice in Dundee is inviting a GP to join our clinic team. We are open to a partner or salaried position, based in the Stobswell area with a diverse population.

Our team includes GP Partners, salaried GPs, ANPs, a Practice Nurse, and strong admin support; we use e-consult for online triage and pre-bookable appointments, with a duty doctor for urgent care and shared house calls. We offer a competitive salary with a golden hello where eligible, six weeks annual leave pro rata

Terra Nova Medical Practice is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a GP to join our clinic team. We are keen to add another partner to our staff but would also consider applications for a salaried position. Based in the Stobswell area of Dundee with a historically deprived, and increasingly diverse population, Terra Nova is a vibrant and exciting place to work. Our clinical team is currently made up of threeGPPartners, two salariedGP’s, two Advance Nurse Practitioners and a Practice Nurse, and we are very ably supported by our Practice Manager and reception team to provide an excellent level of service to our patients.

We are a friendly and supportive workplace, with the team regularly spending time together though the day to encourage communication and learning. We have medical students from the University of Dundee at various stages of their training, regularly receiving glowing feedback from our students, and are aiming to become a training practice in the future as well.

The practice list is currently around 8200 and offers patients a variety of allied services including Community Care and Treatment Service, Sources of Support (social prescriber), PALMS, Brooksbank and a Listening service. We have Health Visitors and Pharmacology staff on-site as well as excellent links with our District Nursing, Enhanced Care at Home and Palliative Care teams, including regular meetings.

We are a vision practice and use docman. We have a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments all lasting 15 minutes. We have a dedicated duty doctor each day for urgent triage and appointments. House calls are shared between duty doctor and our ANP’s. We use e-consult for on-line triage and arranging pre-bookable appointments.
