Job summary

Erskine Practice at Arthurstone Medical Centre in Dundee seeks to appoint a Partner or Salaried GP to our established and forward-thinking team. The number of sessions is negotiable and a Golden Hello payment may be applicable.

The practice features 4 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, extensive nursing and admin support, and is an accredited GP training practice actively involved in research. 7 weeks holiday entitlement plus public holidays (pro-rata).

The Erskine Practice is seeking to appoint a Partner or Salaried GP to our established and forward-thinking team.

The number of sessions is negotiable.

A significant Golden Hello payment may be applicable.

The partners are prepared to be flexible regarding the start date and sessional commitment for the right candidate.

7 weeks holiday entitlement, plus public holidays (pro-rata).

Practice Team

• 4 GP partners, 4 salaried GPs, GP locum support
• 1 Senior Nurse Manager who supports the GPs in clinical triage and has special interests in Diabetes and COPD
• 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
• 2 Practice Nurses with Special Interests in Asthma, Cardiovascular disease, and Women's health (All our Practice Nurses are non-medical prescribers)
• Practice Management Team
• Reception/Admin Team & Repeat Prescription Administrators
• Friendly, well-regarded, and high-performing GMS Practice serving 8,000 patients
• Progressive thinking practice
• High standard of patient care
• Accredited GP training practice. FY2 teaching
• Proactive in medical research
• Telephone consultations and 15-minute face-to-face appointments

Support

• Partners encouraged to pursue outside interests and portfolio careers
• Daily informal meetings for coffee and chat
• District Nurse and Health Visitor teams based within the Practice

Facilities

• Leased premises shared with Mill Practice, and we are in the process of transferring the lease to NHS Tayside
