Job summary

Princes Street Surgery in Dundee is seeking a salaried GP to join our busy 5-partner City Centre practice, offering 6 sessions with flexible start/finish times.

The role includes protected admin time, regular in-house CPD, 15-minute appointments, on-call GP support, and in-house minor procedures. Indemnity cover is provided and a good work-life balance is valued.

Qualifications

• Long established GP training practice with active involvement in undergraduate & post-graduate medical education with medical students from the University of Dundee and University of St Andrews.
• Indemnity cover provided.
• 6 sessions with flexible start/finish times and half or full days to accommodate school run or other commitments.
• 15 minute appointments and low admin workload.

Responsibilities

• Busy 5-partner City Centre practice with efficient appointment system and mostly face-to-face consultations.
• Provide salaried GP services including on-call support and nurse clinics.
• Engage in in-house CPD and opportunities for personal development.
• Mentoring and supervision available from dedicated daily supervising GP.

We have an opportunity for a salaried GP to join our forward thinking, busy 5 partner, City Centre practice.

Salaried GP, 6 Sessions

At Princes Street Surgery we are a committed and effective team, serving c.9000 patients and can offer an excellent working
environment where a good work-life balance is valued.
We offer an efficient appointment system with mostly face to face consultations, a daily on-call GP and nurse clinics. We are a
visit light practice with ample administration time during the day.

6 sessions with the option for flexible start/finish times and half or full days to accommodate school run or other
commitments. Additional sessions may be available.

15 minute appointments and low admin workload.

Protected coffee and lunch breaks. Caffeine and cake included!

No “add on” patients or visits.

Regular in house CPD and opportunity for personal development.

6 weeks annual leave and Public Holidays, pro rata.

Dedicated daily supervising GP with opportunities for mentorship, if desired.

Established family planning, minor surgery and joint injection service provided in house by existing GPs.

Social Prescribing, Listening Service, Pharmacotherapy, Care Home Team and First Contact Physiotherapy in
practice.

Vision & Docman systems.

This position attracts a Golden Hello payment on the upper end of the scale, subject to the successful candidate meeting the
