Qualificações

Orchard Croft Medical Centre is looking for anenthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking GP to join our friendly, well establishedteam. We are a GMS practice with a list size of 10,600 patients, located in thehistoric township of Horbury just 6 miles from Wakefield and minutes from J40of the M1.

Main duties of the job

ClinicalPractice

Assess, diagnose, plan and implement care for patients withundifferentiated or complex presentations

Conduct holistic clinical examinations and develop appropriatemanagement plans

Manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence based approaches

Proactively identify and support patients at risk of long termconditions

Prescribe and review medications in line with national and practiceguidelines

Provide clear information on treatment plans, medication use andselfcare

Prioritise and manage urgent or emergency situations effectively

Promote healthy lifestyle choices and health promotion strategies
