Job summary

Central Surgery in South Shields invites a motivated GP to join the team of 4 partners and salaried GPs at our modern training practice. We value mentoring, personal development, and collaborative learning as we deliver online, telephone and face-to-face care.

We are a sociable team with multiple training Doctors and Specialist Interest Roles, serving about 20,000 patients from a large health centre near the community. This role offers a supportive environment and potential for partnership.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with current registration and licensing.
• Experience in primary care settings and training environments.
• Familiarity with EMIS Web and online consultations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistently high QOF achievement.
• Utilise EMIS clinical system for patient care.
• Manage a mix of clinic appointments and home visits with focus on efficiency.
• Contribute to a large, modern health centre and training environment.

Job description

Due to retirement, we are looking for a motivated team player to join 4 Partners and Salaried Gp's at our innovative training practice in the seaside town of South Shields, South Tyneside.

Main duties of the job

We are a friendly and welcoming family practice, with a strong team ethos and emphasis on mentoring, personal development and learning together.

We have an appetite for change and improve, have adapted to using "E Consults software alongside Emis to deliver clinical care via online consults, telephone and Face to face appointments .

About us

We are a team of doctors, Nurse Practitioners , nurses, pharmacists and administrators providing care to 20,000 patients. We occupy a large purpose built modern health centre in the heart of the practice community along the route of the Great North Run.

Several Doctors have Specialist Interest Roles (minor Surgery, Cryotherapy ). We have 2 training Doctors for GPR'S and teach Medical Students.
