Job summary

Royal College of General Practitioners is supporting a superb training practice in South Oxfordshire to recruit a Salaried GP. The surgery offers 6–8 sessions weekly with flexible hours, a well-supported team, and robust training and teaching opportunities.

There is a strong emphasis on work–life balance, with extensive admin support, access to EMIS Web, and visa sponsorship where needed. Newly qualified GPs are welcome and supported.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and UK work eligibility confirmed.
• Willingness to participate in teaching/training.
• Interest in developing special clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Salaried GP with 6–8 sessions per week.
• Manage a 20,000 patient list with support from clinical staff.
• Use EMIS Web for clinical documentation and prescribing.
• No extended hours; good work-life balance with flexible start/finish times.
• Newly qualified GPs welcome with support available.

Please read on to discover more about a superb training practice in South Oxfordshire seeking to bring in a Salaried GP. The Partners are seeking 6 to 8 sessions a week and are flexible on days. The role would be commutable from Swindon, Oxford and Reading

The role is at a very highy regarded surgery with excellent systems in place which has resulted in a well managed and sustainable workload for the GPs as well as genuine work life balance. There is flexibility on session start and finish times. The Partners are offering extensive support to develop interest areas or get involved in teaching and training. There is a varied team of clinical support staff to ease the burden on the GPs and a very supportive and friendly working environment on offer.

Key Duties

• Seeking a Salaried GP
• Patient list size of circa 20,000
• Stable team of existing Partners and GPs
• Clinical Support staff including Nurses, HCA's, Paramedics
• Excellent admin management from medical secretaries and administrators
• Support on offer to develop interest areas
• Training practice
• Uses EMIS Web
• Workload of circa 14 AM and 12 PM consultations per session
• 15 minute consultations
• Low home visits
• No extended hours
• Newly qualified GP's welcome with support on offer
• Tier 2 visa sponsorship available

Package and Benefits

• £12,000 to £12,500 per session per annum
