Job summary

The Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking a Salaried GP for a well-regarded practice in County Durham. This role includes 6 sessions with a manageable workload of approximately 15 consultations each hour. Job description

Salaried GP role at a well regarded County Durham practice, located between Durham and Darlington.

The role is at a well established and stable practice which is part of a larger network of practices across the North East. Despite the practice being small, you have the background support of a larger organisation.

The group offers excellent development opportunities with support for developing interests and movement into Lead roles.

There is excellent staff retention at the practice with an excellent existing team of GPs, allied healthcare professionals, and excellent management and admin support.

Key Duties

• Salaried GP Role
• 6 Sessions available
• Well managed workload of circa 15 consultations per session
• Mix of clinical sessions and specific sessions for Lead GP duties
• Patient list size of circa 4,000
• Stable team of Salaried GP, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and HCAs
• Excellent management and clerical support team in place
• Support for career development and furthering specialist interests
• Purpose built practice with onsite parking
• Perfect QOF score and Good CQC report
